The Oxford Public Library Board of Trustees seeks a service-oriented and enthusiastic individual with strong leadership and managerial skills to direct the operations of the library.
The successful candidate will possess strong public service orientation, organizational and project management skills, excellent interpersonal communication and supervisory skills, a strong technology background, fiscal management knowledge, and maintain positive relationships with the public, library staff, Library Board, government officials, community organizations, and area libraries.
The Oxford Public Library is in Oxford, Wisconsin a Village of around 560 residents.
Applicants must be eligible for a Grade III library certification in the state of Wisconsin, requiring 54 semester credits, half of which must be in the liberal arts and sciences, at a college or university approved by an accrediting association of statewide standing. Applicants must also have completed or be willing to complete 12 semester credits of library approved coursework. Pay commensurate with education and experience starting at $15.30 to 15.66 an hour for a 29-hour work week. The position may require some evenings. The benefit package includes enrollment in the Wisconsin Retirement System. Start date to be determined.
